Here’s a photo we took in 2007, which is in our Ambergris Caye photos section of our Belize pictures area. No need to adjust your monitor, that is a red river and we aren’t sure why. If this was in Belize City with its astonishingly high murder rate you might wonder if this is a river of blood, but on peaceful Ambergris Caye that doesn’t seem likely. Here’s a random photo from our Caye Caulker pictures collection in our main Belize photos area. This shot was actually taken with an underwater disposable camera so it’s not the highest quality, but you get the idea. Snorkeling in Caye Caulker is a major activity and is highly recommended.

This photo of Caye Caulker is not from our main Belize photos section because it was taken by the writer of our Caribbeanlogue and Businesstravellogue.
The interesting thing about this photo is that it’s actually of what is basically the center of the village on Caye Caulker. On Front Street there are more businesses for tourists, but this is really the Caye Caulker equivalent of Times Square.

Here’s a photo of the Rainbow Grill & Bar on Caye Caulker from the Caye Caulker photos section of our Belize photos page. The Rainbow is one of the better over-water dining and drinking options on the island, and that paint job on the side of the deck hanging over the Caribbean really helps to give the place a Caribbean Sea vibe.

Here’s yet another one of our Belize pictures. I think this is on Caye Caulker, but it’s possible that it’s on Ambergris Caye to be honest with you. The islands do look quite alike from angles like this. This is a typical modest home of a local, and something you won’t often see advertised when searching for Belize real estate that is meant for expats. Most locals do live in homes like this, and stilts are pretty much mandatory for any place that doesn’t want their bottom floor flooded every few years. …

Here’s kind of an unusual photo from the recent photos section on our Belize pictures page. This was taken from a Tropic Air flight from Placencia to Belize City. Those houses in the distance are the southern part of Belize City itself. The main part of the town where the Marine Terminal and Swing Bridge are located are just beyond and to the left.
